Celebrating Navratri: A Divine Display by Our Youngest Learners

The spirit of Navratri, a vibrant celebration of the Goddess Durga and the triumph of good over evil, filled the pre-primary block of Gurukul School, Dhamnod with joy and reverence.

A truly special moment unfolded as the students of our UKG class transformed into the Nine Divine Avatars (Navadurga) of Goddess Durga. Dressed in stunning, vibrant attire, these little goddesses graced the school office with their presence, radiating innocence and divinity.

The highlight was the traditional ritual where the young ‘Devis’ blessed the office with their Kanku Footprints. Following the divine ceremony, the celebration moved to the lively beat of the Garba. The energetic twirling, clapping, and rhythmic steps created a spectacular sight, demonstrating the children’s festive spirit and love for their culture.

To conclude the day’s sacred festivities, our students embarked on a meaningful visit to the local Deviji Temple in Dhamnod. It was a moment of quiet devotion as the children sought the blessings.

The Navratri celebration at the pre-primary block was a heart-warming fusion of devotion, culture, and pure fun.
